The Vacant Lots Interzone was released on June 26th 2020 on Fuzz Club Records.

The Vacant Lots Interzone is a psychedelic rock synthwave album with driving beat machines and glossy snyth. The vocals have cool lyrics and attitude and are clear and forward in the mix giving it a dark underground pop appeal. The Vacant Lots Interzone is their 3rd full length and the most cohesive and popular album to date.

The lyrics are politically charged with cynical lines like “This is my country… America.. Fire with fire.” “I need a rescue”. They vocals loop and repeat giving a droning punk mantra quality to these wonderful songs.

The music is solid and can appeal to many genres of psych including post rock, industrial, Electronic, Kraut rock, synth wave, psychedelic rock and more.

Interzone was created with the two composers living on opposite coasts sending music back and forth until the songs were composed and then they would meet in the studio to finalize the tracks. The album has guest musicians and producers and has a professional production which is world class.

The Vacant Lots are a duo with Jared Artaud and Brian MacFadyen located in the USA. They have collaborated with Suicide’s Alan Vega, Sonic Boom, Antone Newcombe of Brain Jonestown Massacre and more. The Vacant Lots are quickly evolving the genre and are making important music which is punk and electronic with inspirations from 80’s synth rock and contemporary underground psych.
