Centripetal Force Records strikes again with a psychedelic free jam from a side project of The Myrrors. The music is space rock drone psychedelic jam. The warm guitar tones, harmonium, energized drumming and diverse instrumentation create music that is transcendent. The songs build layer upon layer and morph and melt moving from rhythm guitars and drum to several instruments bursting into abstraction.
Grant Beyschau is the mind behind the music and he is a member of The Myrrors and the similarity in musical style is evident. Wooden Flower is the first album from Tambourinen and it is a strong debut. The music varies from the tracks laided by the Myrrors but the feel and approach to musical stylings are very similar.
The vinyl sounds great a big improvement over the streams online. The raw cardboard cover with black print its rustic and Earthly. The vinyl is a standard black 33RPM.
Tambourinen Wooden Flower was released on May 1st 2020 on cassette and on November 20th on Vinyl via Centripetal Force Records (USA) and Cardinal Fuzz (Europe).
