Yo No Se – Terraform – Heavy Dirty Stoney and Grungy Slammer

Yo No Se Terraform

Yo No Se Terraform was released on June 18th 2021 on Stolen Body Records.

Yo No Se Terraform

Yo No Se Terraform is heavy, grungy, and packed with stoney riffs. The distorted guitar and bass are dirty and ripping with fuzzy distortion. The drums pound at a mid-tempo pace with ferocious strength. Alex Studer gives a 90s style desert rock and grunge vocal that would make Kurt Cobain smile. Yo No Se has that ‘fuck off’ sound that is intended to piss off your neighbors, very next-gen-punk.

Yo No Se Terraform is the follow up to the 2017 album Soma also from Stolen Body Records and their second full-length release. Yo No Se is from the UK and became well known for their insane live performances. The band whips their audiences into a puck stoner frenzy. The band consists of Alex Studer on guitar and vocals, Jason Strickland on Bass and Matt Neicho on drums.

Terraform is solid rock all the way through but a highlight for me is the wild guitar leads best exemplified in ‘Black Door’ and ‘Slaughter’. The band has a druggy sound very reminiscent of the early 90s stoner and desert rock scene with bands like Nebula and Fu Man Chu but also a strong Nirvana tone as well. The music will appeal to you dirty stoner rockers out there and psych punk freaks too.

Yo No Se Terraform is heavy and rocking and has loads of great riffs and tones. Be sure to pick up a copy from Stolen Body Records In the links below!
