This means that any label that wants can put up the money and make their own pressing. The band being unrelenting innovators also released several album for the bootlegger series.

King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard – Teenage Gizzard are recordings from 2010 and 2011 and represent some of the earliest King Gizzard recordings. The sound is surfy psyched out rock with jangling guitars, energized vocals and wacky effects. The album is a banger with high energy rock the whole way through. the music feel wholesome and joyful with creative songs.
King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard – Teenage Gizzard is a really cool album as one has come to expect from this eclectic band. The songs structures are simpler more stripped down then the music they released later. The guitars get surf tones with slashing reverb, vibrato and tremolo. They get some wild west vibes and rock hard with Thee Oh Sees style. Honestly don’t know who influenced who but King Gizz and Oh Sees are kindred spirits.
King Gizzard puts their wacky personality is on display with this album. The less produced sound, lo-fi recordings and playful nature of the music is highly effective. I have no idea if the band members were actually teenagers on Teenage Gizzard but they are certainly young and vibrant.
