The tones on the album are great with wonderfully textured distortion on the guitars. The vocals sound clear, gritty and well recorded with reverb and echo.
Black Helium is from the UK and has released two full length albums on Riot Season Records. Their most recent release was Wholly Other which ripped into dark moody heavy psychedelic rock. Primitive Fuck was the debut album which was also very good stoner rock. This is their first live album and its a special free digital offering on their Bandcamp site from CVLT Nation.
Black Helium began unexpected as they all agreed to fill in for a halloween house party and they ended up forming a real band. The show was in East London and now they are on an awesome label and are making incredible music that reaches ears of underground heads world-wide.
