The Paranoyds – Hotel Celebrity (OFFICIAL VIDEO) is an awesome rock song with punk, pop and psych vibes from this female fronted band the chorus is very catchy and the lyrics are ironic. The music video is funny weird pointing out the ways in which women are pressured to look a certain way even if it means getting injections and plastic surgery. It can be hard to live up to the outdated expectations of being a celebrity.
The Paranoyds – Hotel Celebrity (OFFICIAL VIDEO) is the second single from the 7″ that was released on November 27th 2020. The other song on the release is ‘Pet Cemetery ‘and it has a stoner doom element mixed in that sounds awesome. I personally am very happy that i picked a copy for the 7″ vinyl because it sounds great and makes me very excited for their full length album which must be on the horizon.
Suicide Squeeze is such an awesome label and I know many people in the eruo psych scene are not very familiar with this label but they should be because its putting out the best female fronted psych, desert rock, punk music out there. This is evidenced by releases from The Death Valley Girls, L.A. Witch and The Paranoyds. Each of these bands has made years of evolution in a short time with the help of their label. 3 cheers for Suicide Squeeze, I have no idea what they do that is different from other labels but they know how to take talent and give the support it needs to make the best possible music.
