Taras Bulba Soul Weaver is super cool far-out experimental psychedelic rock with shades of kraut rock, acid folk, showgaze and kosmische. The swirling effects create animated backdrops for the echoing vocals and guitar riffs. Its all out into overload and melts down into acid folk cosmic drift all with spaced out effects and transmissions from the tryptamine palaces.
Taras Bulba is from the UK and was formed by the members of Earthling Society. Taras Bulbas first album One was released in September of 2019 and Soul Weaver is the follow up full length. Both albums were released through Riot Season Records a label which puts out much of the best psychedelic rock on Earth today!
One, their first album, was an experimental journey which was abstract artistic and removed from any classical definitions of musical genres; a true psychedelic experience with stunning results. Soul Weaver was recorded at a distance and explores some classic psychedelic musical styles like garage rock, acid folk and noise into the atmospheric territory discovered on One.
Soul Weaver has elements that will appeal to fans of Red Krayola, Six Organs Of Admittance, Earthling Society, Lamp Of The Universe and Black Helium. Taras Bulba is putting out music that is diverse and masterfully blends influences without ever replicating other peoples sound.
