L.A. Witch Play With Fire was released on August 21st 2020 on Suicide Squeeze Records.

L.A. Witch Play With Fire is desert rock with grunge, garage and punk rock style. This L.A. Witch‘s best album to date. The recording quality is tops and the mix and production is spot on, its clean and produced without losing the edgy garage rock sound. The album is filled front to back with great music.

L.A. Witch Play With Fire sees an evolution in the band as they have gone to the next level with sections of loud and soft songs, psychedelic effects and other sections of stripped back rock with punk attitude.

‘Motorcycle Boy’ is one of my favorites with wonderful vocals and songwriting and ‘Fire Starter‘ with its wicked guitar solo at the end.

L.A. Witch is an all female band and they have toured extensively. Founded in 2012 the band slowly released home recorded demos until a series of singles in 2016 and then 2017 when they released their self-titled full length L.A. Witch followed by the EP Octobre in 2018 both with Suicide Squeeze Reocrds. Octobre was re-recording of older songs that never were properly released and recorded. The self-titled album had many tracks from the various singles they had released over they years and sold on their many tours.

Play With Fire is all new music and it’s great. Sade Sanchez on vocals and guitar is extraordinary her vocal tone and guitar style are iconic. The Bass playing of Irita Pai drives the songs forward melodically and rhythmically. The artwork for the album is amazing with a vintage 1990s style to match the music.

L.A. Witch Play With Fire is incredible one of my favorites of the year cannot miss out on this one!
