Night Beats New Single 7″ ‘That’s All You Got’ is the newest single being pressed on a 7″ limited edition vinyl on both bone and black records. Night Beats has Danny Lee Blackwell as the leader of the band on guitar and vocals. Night Beats recently signed with Fuzz Club records and it appears there is much more new material on the way. Below is the 30 second teaser for the song.
This new song is created in collaboration with Robert Levon of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. This is not the first time Robert Levon has worked with Danny Lee Blackwell and with Levon’s expertise in production I am certain the new singles will be vintage guitar heaven.
Night Beats New Single 7″ ‘That’s All You Got’ from the limited teaser sounds like vintage R&B rock and roll with some great guitar playing. Night Beats last album was a cover album covering songs from the Sonics before that was Myth Of A Man which featured Dan Auerbach on production and collaborative song writing. The album had great music on however it was focused on a pop orientation verses a rock out and psych rock style and both came out on Heavenly Recordings.
I am looking forward to Night Beats being back on a label which gives artist lots of creative options. For this single both Fuzz Club and Reverberation Appreciation Society AKA Levitation are releasing the album which is excellent because it allows people here in the USA to get the records without paying top dollar in shipping. Night Beats has released a live session album on Fuzz Club which was awesome with ripping lead guitars. Danny Lee Blackwell has released music on Reverberation Appreciation Society with UFO Club and the Sonic Boom Night Beats album. In many ways it is a home coming for Night Beats but they are not the band they were 8 years ago and there is excitement brewing for this next chapter.
