The Heads Reverberations Volume 2

The Heads Reverberations Volume 2

7 / 10 live noise rock

The Heads Reverberations Volume 2 was released on August 28th 2020 on Cardinal Fuzz Records.

The Heads Reverberations Volume 2 recorded live at the Thekla (6th December 2001) as part of the ‘The Gnostic Bash: A Tribute to Kenneth Anger’. This is an intense live performance and a great addition to the reverberations album series where The Heads Lost recordings are presented on vinyl.

The Heads Reverberations Volume 2 is a far-out jam session with a single 40 minute song; no pauses, no breaks, all heavy psych rock. The wailing guitars are worth the price of admission and the let down for not being hip enough to be at this legendary live show is real. But wipe your eyes and head to Cardinal Fuzz and pick up this high quality live vinyl with mirror reflective cover art and bathe in your glory.

This one track running 40 minutes is crazy and taps into noise rock, heavy psych, space rock and experimental rock. This music cannot possibly be replicated by any other band it is The Heads doing what they do best and absolutely killing it. No ears were spared and no fucks given these guys do whatever they want even if it throws you into the undertow. This album was performed in 2001 but its so contemporary that your friends will never know it’s 20 years old.

The Heads Reverberations Volume 2 is the wild live performance you want in your collection and it is already a classic that only heads will know about.
