Psychic Lemon Studio Jams Volume 2 is a collection of epic space rock music recorded in the bands home studio. The songs are untitled and improvised. The songs follow a krautrock formula with free improvisation and in the moment experimentation. The music is instrumental with a guitar forward approach. They have interesting spacey effects, filter sweeps, dirty bass and energized drums.

Psychic Lemon is from London, UK and they have released nothing but amazing original psychedelic space rock music over the years. Their self-titled first album was released in 2016 followed by Frequency.Rhythm, Distortion.Delay in 2018 and Freak Mammal in 2019 both of which made my year lists. Links here:

Psychic Lemon Studio Jams Volume 2 was recorded with a single mic in their practice space, overall the result is very clear and sounds good. This band is incredible live and this recording has the raw energy of their performances. Their album Freak Mammal was also recorded in their home studio space, however they used a different technique and had track by track mixing and mastering.
