Buffalo Fuzz Volume II is here with heavy blues riffs and driving vocals. The album is mostly heavy hitting with a few moments flirting with country music. Overall, great and unique mix of popular style heavy blues and dirty 70’s / 80’s style rock including a few cover songs. The music is played with intense passion and is great!
Buffalo Fuzz Volume II was released self-released by Buffalo Fuzz on June 5th 2020.
Buffalo Fuzz formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2015 and released the first album in 2016. After reaching over a million views the band began prepping the second album. At this point Buffalo Fuzz is Jared Zachery on vocals and guitar and Jake Allan on vocals and drums. Unfortunately, Jake Allan passed away at the age of 24 delaying the release of Volume 2 by several years.
Personal note that Jake was a super cool and is sorely missed.
Jared Zachary had shelved the project and developed a new outfit playing country and folk music on the acoustic guitar around the local music venues in Minneapolis. After several years it was time to release the newest music that was recorded. There were overdubs and a few new tracks added to complete the album.
