Los Mundos Calor Central
Los Mundos Calor Central is fuzz heavy riff and bass driven music with sacred Earth medicine vibes. The theme of Psychedelic Journey spans the album.
Calor Central starts with singing bowls and percussion recorded in a cavern for authentic audio of entering the underworld or moving into the Earth. This is their heaviest album to date with punchy rhythms, reverberated expansive vocals and exciting songs.
The album is coming out thanks to Cardinal Fuzz and Little Cloud Recordings on April 26th 2019 on molten red vinyl with a Download code; limited to 135 European and 350 world-wide copies.
Los Mundos are from Monterrey Mexico you can feel the vast landscapes influencing the music. On the first song the percussion was recorded in a cave to giving the authentic soundtrack of entering the earth or the underworld, a motif associated with intense shamanic journey and psychedelic healing.
The band draws inspiration from many musical sources including Jesus and Mary Chain, Beach Boys, and the many fuzzed out psych-rockers of today and the forgone heroes who evolved this sound in the 1990’s.
The band formed when Luis Angel Martinez and Alejandro Elizondo began collaborating in 2012. Both were in other bands at the time but the undeniable chemistry has developed into 5 albums over the last 7 years. This is my favorite release so far by Los Mundos. I suggest that you dive in and take a deep journey into Los Mundos Calor Central. Enter the underworld with an expansive consciousness and emerge inspired.
