Pärson Sound was a psychedelic rock band from 1967 that was way ahead of its time. This latest album is the live sets demos and compiled recordings from the band. The sound is experimental free flowing music bridging, rock, jazz, krautrock, acid folk and psychedelic pop sounds. This is a vintage psychedelic rock classic.
Pärson Sound is a gem of the 1960’s with a sound that was darker, and weirder then much of the music at the time. In fact it too many years to compile an album because they were so outside the mainstream and had only a handful of songs recorded.
Pärson Sound has wonderful vocal lines the front the strange humming arrangements. Their sounds has strong melodies that reflect the sound of the 60s however the instrumental arragements are far outside the norm for the time.
Pärson Sound is truly innovative and transported through time from the psychedelic era of the 60s. This album is incredible and stands up to many contemporary bands in terms of experimentation, innovation and refusal to accept conformity. It is hard to believe this music in from the 1960s as it integrates sounds that would be developed in the 1970s and in contemporary psych rock released today.
