Korb – Korb I Vintage Analogue Kraut Space Tracks

Korb – Korb I

Korb – Korb I was originally released in 2018 and was released on limited splatter vinyl in late 2020 from Necio Records.

Korb – Korb I

Korb – Korb I is a elctro-kraut-space rock album with layers of synth and synth like guitars. The motorik music is straight from the 70s kruat scene in Germany but the band hails from the UK.

Korb – Korb I has a warm vintage tonality but is totally contemporary. The wonderful combination of instruments creates deep space soundscapes that have drive and have rock music influences. The wonderful swirling effects and electronic sounds are out of this world. The band mentions that they are inspired by sound tracks and this album could easily find its place in a sci-fi or art house film.

Korb is a two piece band from the UK with Jonathan Parkes and Alec Wood. After many year of experimentation this duo has become a leader in the underground electro-kraut scene. Combining vintage analogue synth and contemporary organ. guitar, bass and drum. Korb I is their first album originally released on CD through Dreamland Recordings and now on 180 gram white blue splatter vinyl from Necio Records of Peru. They released Korb II on The Weird Beard Records in 2020 and it is one of the best krautrock albums of year.
