TENGGER Nomad was released on June 12 2020 by Beyond Beyond Is Beyond Records (BIBB).
TENGGER Nomad is an ambient journey into soothing soundscapes natural and distant. The music is soothing, never harsh with echoing vocal tones and glittering synth looping. The music is calming and soothing fitting for their name Tengger which means, “unlimited expanse of sky” in Mongolian.
TENGGER has elements of kosmische, ambient, and new age music. the sound is primarily electronic with vocals. It bubbles like stream of water and never becomes digitally harsh.
TENGGER is a couple from South Korea and Japan and their music is recorded on their adventures to distant lands with beautiful natural landscapes. Itta and Marqido take kosmische into new directions that remain psychedelically inspired but more grounded in ambience and nature.
TENGGER released their first album UFO in 2007 and Nomad is the 11th release from this band and the second on Beyond Beyond Is Beyond.
This is a beautiful album that is high inspired and it never loses its forward movement or gets lost in the depth of its ambience. TENGGER Nomad is a wonderful addition to the contemporary Kosmische revival and a joy to listen to.
