Mr. Prana Crafter sent me a package which arrived today. Prana Crafter MorphoMystic was released on September 18th 2020 on Cardinal Fuzz Records and Feeding Tube Records.
Prana Crafter MorphoMystic is a deep space creation with cosmic synth drift that takes a journey through the inner spaces. Analogue echo, synthesizers, and guitar create a psychedelic drone with mystical intent. Listen closely with eyes closed and the third eye open and you will get lost in the spaces between ethereal dimensions.
Prana Crafter is William Sol, he layers guitars, synth, and other droning instrumentation into sonic vistas designed to take the listener on an electro-shamanic journey.
I got the black vinyl version with plays beautifully.
Prana Crafter released the debut album in 2014 and has reliably released albums every year since. The first album to breakthrough was Bodhi Cheetah’s Choice from Beyond Beyond Is Beyond in 2018. Since then the music has been consistently high quality exploring kosmische and near ambient soundscapes. Ambient is not the right word as he creates a driving tension that gets to dense for pure ambience.
MorphoMystic takes this sound further creating lush dense sounds with more tension and high weirdness. The music delights in the alien, strange and unknown much like a psychedelic experience.
