La Era De Acuario is a psyched out rock album that mixes space rock and vintage psych tones with female lead vocals. The songs rock out and blast off with organs, tremolo, reverb and strong composition. The vocals are smooth, with generous psyched-out effects. The music builds in complexity shifting from retro garage psych to darker heavier vibes. The album is very well done and sounds amazing paving the way for a bright future for this new band.
La Era De Acuario has great guitar playing with vintage effects and contemporary lead lines. The tones are dynamic and varied and include lightly overdriven jangle, to modulating swirling effects to heavy fuzz echo guitar solos. The drums and bass line are tight and thoughtful and drive the build-ups and sit back during the roll backs. The vocals come in with what sounds like a hint of phaser that allows them to merge into the backdrop of instrumentation. The music cone through balanced and all the instruments come together to create a tapestry of moving tones.
La Era De Acuario is a new Mexican band and the latest self-titled album La Era De Acuario which translates to “The Age of Aquarius”. They created a self-released EP in 2019 and this newest album is the first official release. The band is inspired by the hippie sentiment of the 1960s and integrate the psychedelic effects and sounds of the bygone era. The Southern Hemisphere of the Americas is exploding with incredible underground psychedelic rock of all styles. The scene there is becoming a place to find some of the best psychedelic rock on Earth. Hats off to Necio Records for bringing much of this music into global awareness.
La Era De Acuario is a highly talented band that is dedicated to reimagining the 60s sound with their choice of instruments and effects. The overall sound is wonderful and the songs are all highly enjoyable. This is an awesome album that will satisfy any fuzz and psych lovers pallet.

The Psych Rock is here to promote awesome underground music that is wildly creative. The page is a one person operation and I want to thank everyone who has helped keep me motivated with your great music and awesome promos. Many thanks to all the viewers how have check out the page I hope you found a bunch of new and awesome music. 2020 was a good year for the page because I was stuck at home and I listened to all the music and discovered new music continuously. I have been a bit busy but doing my best to keep on top of the new releases and the many great artists and labels who take the time to send me emails.
How am I doing you ask? I am well Looking for more opportunities to share my creative talents. I have been writing a new album for my psychedelic rock band Black Satori, we have some exciting news coming soon! I finished up a home recorded full-length solo album and I am determining how to release it to the world. Its a folk rock album with some psychedelic vibes. My other solo albums can be found under Temple Rose. I have been writing for POWmagazine.org which has been a delight. I am finding new hobbies and looking for more work as well. So it has been difficult to keep up but I appreciate all your support!
