Geekd The Fairytale Starlight is an alternative rock album with psychedelic flourishes. The songs are melodic with catchy vocal hooks and rocking guitars. It’s a blast from the 90’s glazed in the present moment with alternative rock roots.
Geekd The Fairytale Starlight is the first solo album from Christian Moreno of Chicago, Illinois USA. The album is heavily inspired by The Smashing Pumpkins, Dandy Worhol’s and The Brain Jonestown Massacre.
Christian Moreno is the former drummer and composer in the band Where’s Fernando and has played in theater orchestras. Covid-19 gave him the time to focus on his solo project Geekd.
Geekd The Fairytale Starlight was recorded in early 2020 and mastered by Aaron Stearns.
