King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard Live In London ’19 is a rocking album featuring the might King Gizzard ripping through their catalogue in London 2019. This album has a heavier set of songs. They play some older favorites and tear into the new thrash rock from Infest The Rats Nest.
King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard Live In London ’19 has many heavy songs from their Infest The Rats Nest album. These track trash in a 1980s kinda way with contemporary heavy stoner rock blended in. The 2019 world tour was the first time the King Gizzard had played Infest the Rats Nest songs live. It is highly impressive to hear the band tightly executing these rhythmically difficult and fast tempo songs.
They also bring in favorites from past albums including ‘I’m In Your Mind’, ‘Rattlesnake’ and ‘Float Along – Fill your Lungs’. The set has a few tunes from many of their albums. All the music performed with energy, inspiration and tight performances with great sound quality for a live recording.

The band only asks that you send them some copies for their collection. This is not the first time they have done this however the open source catalogue now has 7 albums. One label did a box set with the whole collection and it sold out instantly.

King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard is from Australia and has captivated the attention of a global audience with their eclectic and prolific music. Their earliest recordings date back to 2010 and they have been released in the last few years as demos and outtakes including Teenage Gizzard which is part of the Bootlegger series. Their first official album was released in 2012 but it was not until their world tour in 2016 that they emerged into global awareness. They recently released Live In San Francisco ’16 which showcases this game changing live set. In 2017 they rode the wave of their tour and released 5 excellent full length albums. This ensured their presence in music headlines and magnetized thousands of fans. 2020 was a year of 9 new albums 7 of which were live albums and one was demos and KG Vol II was a new full length with microtonal songs. King Gizzard is now a well known rock band that is changing the way bands release music. Their legion of fans love their wacky and unpredictable style.
