Dope Purple Grateful End was released on April 16th 2021 on Riot Season Records and VW Sorcerer Productions on edition of 500 transparent yellow vinyl. The original release was CD and cassette from 2019.

Dope Purple Grateful End is a far out psychedelic heavy space rock album in the vain of Acid Mothers Temple with wild experimental guitars, feedback, sci-fi synth sounds and explosive energy. This is a cosmic rocket ship that blast through the stars and lands on barren extraterrestrial landscapes. The guitars are forward in the mix and the drummer ramps up to light speed building incredible intensity and drive in the climatic sections of the album. Most of the songs run around 10 minutes in length for full freakout rock styling. Dope Purple Grateful End has echoing vocals that are literally buried in echo and reverb making them near indistinguishable. It adds to the psyched out atmosphere of the album and gives it an underground feel.
Dope Purple is from Taiwan and Grateful End is their first vinyl release. This album was first released in 2019 on cassette and CD. This new vinyl version has received a full remaster and sounds bigger and badder than ever.
Dope Purple Grateful End is out fo this world psychedelic rock from the underground Asian rock scene that is known for full force experimentation and unapologetic about intense high speed cosmic rock. Dope Purple‘s sound is similar to other freakout rock bands like Acid Mothers Temple and Hibushibire. The music has intense climaxes and chill intros and buildups. The soft to loud dynamic is compelling and makes the arc of the album a roller coaster ride. Dope Purple makes great music with awesome tones throughout the album
This band released their first album in 2017 on cassette called UFO and Demo and this follow-up shows great potential for the band as they follow their influences and develop their own unique approach to the genre. The future looks very bright for this band. The album sounds like a live studio recording likely done as a whole band performance. This live feel captures the red hot of the band and makes me excited for any opportunity the hear them live.
Dope Purple Grateful End is a very cool album that goes way far out and is certainly one to pick and listen to. Be sure to support the band, buy their album and support the labels. Without them this music would never have existed.

The Psych Rock is here to promote awesome underground music that is wildly creative. The page is a one person operation and I want to thank everyone who has helped keep me motivated with your great music and awesome promos. Many thanks to all the viewers how have check out the page I hope you found a bunch of new and awesome music. 2020 was a good year for the page because I was stuck at home and I listened to all the music and discovered new music continuously. I have been a bit busy but doing my best to keep on top of the new releases and the many great artists and labels who take the time to send me emails.
How am I doing you ask? I am well Looking for more opportunities to share my creative talents. I have been writing a new album for my psychedelic rock band Black Satori, we have some exciting news coming soon! I finished up a home recorded full-length solo album and I am determining how to release it to the world. Its a folk rock album with some psychedelic vibes. My other solo albums can be found under Temple Rose. I have been writing for POWmagazine.org which has been a delight some great longer form articles there about music. I am finding new hobbies and looking for more work as well. So it has been difficult to keep up but I appreciate all your support!
