Sounds Of New Soma – Trip is a old school deep space kosmiche album from the Berlin school of the 70s. The vast ambience of synthesized soundscapes. Glittering astral jewels of sound emit warm light and bring deeper states of consciousness. The guitars echo and swell into the void of space. They develop a drive and tension that contrasts and enhances the ambient spaces.
Sounds Of New Soma – Trip is by electro avant-garde krautrock duo Alexander Djelassi and Dirk Raupach. The album is one single track titled, Trip. Sounds of New Soma formed in 2013 “in order to materialize their tonal vision of a cosmic voyage in the aftermath of a psychedelic trip”.
Sounds Of New Soma – Trip includes a section with monk like chanting and droning instruments as if you were in a Tibetan buddhist ceremony. The album is a trip its very cool and captures so many amazing sounds. New Sounds Of Soma Paints with sound and their expression is beautiful with the flow of a soundtrack.
Trip uses vintage synth tones and has a 70s Berlin aesthetic but it incorporates modern sounds and textures as well. The synth tones are wonderful and will thrill any enthusiast. The songs sooth and challenge the listener. The artists manage to create immersive musical scenes in these instrumental compositions.
Sounds Of New Soma – Trip is an awesome album and will be greatly enjoyed by folks who like the Berlin school kosmische and krautrock. The music is reliant on a variety of synths with other instruments entering the scene on occasion. The variety and flow fo the album is constantly interesting and the transitions between sections are either abrupt or smooth. The music creates washes of sound that can fold over the listener like a blanket of stars. it also gets into the vintage sci-fi tones.

Many thanks to all the viewers how have check out the page I hope you found a bunch of new and awesome music. 2020 was a good year for the page because I was stuck at home and I listened to all the music and discovered new music continuously. I have been a bit busy but doing my best to keep on top of the new releases and the many great artists and labels who take the time to send me emails.
How am I doing you ask? I am well Looking for more opportunities to share my creative talents. I have been writing a new album for my psychedelic rock band Black Satori, we have some exciting news coming soon! I finished up a home recorded full-length solo album and I am determining how to release it to the world. Its a folk rock album with some psychedelic vibes. My other solo albums can be found under Temple Rose. I have been writing for POWmagazine.org which has been a delight some great longer form articles there about music. I am finding new hobbies and looking for more work as well. So it has been difficult to keep up but I appreciate all your support!
