Tengger – Shikoku Camp is a meditative New Years present to us all. The album was recorded in December of 2020 and features tracks with names like ‘Calm Wave’ ‘Afternoon Sea’ and ‘Gaze’. Take a deep breath and feel yourself opening to a more spacious awareness in the waves of Tengger Shikoku Camp.
Tengger – Shikoku Camp is very calm music with repeating loops and gentle synth tones. The music flows like a river naturally and organically flowing along. The voices comes in like harmonies from a fairy world. All the instruments are atmospheric and sustained in long reverb.
Tengger – Shikoku Camp is droning ambience that radiates a calm soothing presence. The music feel like a ode to nature and its’ springing beauty. The songs evolve slowly and are always soft and warm.
Tengger is a duo of Itta from South Korea and Marqido from Japan. They released the first Tengger album in 2013 and released the album Nomad on Beyond beyond Is Beyond Records in 2020, this album made my best kosmisch and drone of 2020 list. This new album came out without announcement or promotion as a way to increase their following on youTube.
