Sens Dep Lush Desolation is an atmospheric album with much of the album awash in ambient soundscapes accented with post rock oriented shoegaze. The music is slow and displays rich sonic vistas where all the instruments merge together in a wall of sound.

Lush Desolation is the debut album from Sens Dep of Melbourne, Australia. They formed Sens Dep in 2009 as a side project with members of the band Laura. In the bands formative years the trio composed music to accompany visual art exhibitions. The music

Sens Dep Lush Desolation has beautiful soundtrack textures and melancholic vocals. The music feels like it comes from the state of hypnagogia between wake and sleep. The ambient washing on the first half of the album are dreamy clouds of sound. while the second half introduces vocals, beats and distorted guitars in a post rock fashion.
