Mythic Sunship Changing Shapes is an acid trip into stoner space rock with lead saxophone and shades of free jazz. This is music is a step above their contemporaries. The band has a synergistic creative flow which allows each player to step up and shine with the band backing which is a bit more organized then most stoner space rock compositions. The sounds quality is professional great recording and mix that is a pleasure to listen to.

I am going to come clean, I have a bias against saxophone, that said I still want this album on my turntable because this performance is charged with energy and the music is ecstatic. Killer album!

Mythic Sunship has been making innovative music fusing psychedelic rock and jazz since 2010. They push the boundary breaking into noise, free jazz psychedelic fusion, Space rock and abstract improvisation. This band is one of the current best in this slice of the psychedelic scene and is one that you must know!

They hail from Copenhagen, Denmark and this album was released on El Paraiso Records in March 2020.
