Mothers Of The Land Hunting Grounds is the latest album from the Austrian heavy psychedelic stoner rock band with impressive emotive dual guitar solos.

Mothers Of The Land Hunting Grounds was released on June 19th 2020 on StoneFree Records.

The music is instrumental and has the dual guitar solos inspired by late 70’s rock like Iron Maiden or more contemporary In Flames. The guitar tones are fully over-driven and hot with smooth gain and closely paired guitar tones between the two guitar players.

The rhythm section is precise and creates a driving momentum and fluidity in the transitions. The bass and drum have a tight attack with punchy results giving the songs a stoner rock vibe. The instrumental songs rarely repeat themselves and continue to move forwards with new riffs and an ever changing mood across the songs. The dueling guitars feel like a center point of the sound and part of what defines that band with the 1970’s metal guitar solos with contemporary stoner prog and space rock sophistication.

Mothers Of The Land is from Vienna, Austria formed in 2012 with their first official album Temple Without Walls was self-released in 2016. Georg Pluschkowitz is on guitar along with Jack Jindra. Johannes ‘Jon’ Zeininger is on bass and Jakob Haug on drums to round out the tight rhythm section.
