This edition includes 3 unreleased songs from the sessions extending the album onto a 12″ vinyl as well as on CD for the first time; released date is the 24th of May 2020.
Electric Moon You Can See The Sound Of is a space rock voyage which has moments of soft cosmic kosmisch as well as grinding heavy space rock with screaming filter and fuzzed bass lines. Electric Moon is consistent at creating and releasing incredible space rock music and all their album are great. You Can See The Sound Of is a joy for all lovers for those who like heavy psych or psychedelic space rock.
Electric Moon features space rock and krautrock artists Sula Bassana on guitar and keys, and Komet Lulu on bass. These two are a contemporary psychedelic rock powerhouse. Sulatron Records is run by Sula Bassana and offers a ton of awesome music beyond Electric Moon’s legendary albums.
Electric Moon is from Germany and released their first albums Lunatics and Live at Epplehaus 2010. Every year Electric Moon released several albums both live and studio recorded. They have taken the space rock world by storm and are a big part of the current blossoming of the global psychedelic heavy space rock scene. I have no doubt that Electric Moon will be seen as one of the most important space rock bands of the 2010’s and beyond.
The music on You Can See The Sound Of is moody and gets into some strange vibrations. “Your Own Truth” has Lulu on whispered vocals and trance inducing dark wave grooves repeating the phrase “you are a liar“; this songs is also very short length for Electric Moon coming in at 4 1/2 minutes. The rest of the album features 10 minute tracks and slow burn intros with glossy vintage synth and bubbling effects which builds into heavy space rock heaven.
