Frankie and the Witch Fingers -Cookin’ Video W/ Sex, Violence & Drugs

Frankie and the Witch Fingers Cookin’

Cookin’ is the the latest single from LA based psych garage fuzz rock band Frankie and the Witch Fingers. The video has sex appeal, violence, drug references and other degenerate behavior displayed in a vintaged playful video.

The song has rockin’ guitars, stop and start drumming with reverberating vocals and group shout backs. The riffs are catchy and juicy with drive and energy. The band has always created exciting music that pumps live or on the stereo. This latest single is no exception as they continue to floor music reviewers with their consistently engaging music. This band can do no wrong but they do seem naughty.

Frankie and the Witch Fingers Cookin’ features “three agents of chaos who gleefully inflict destruction.” The video is entertaining and the song is upbeat and interesting. FATWF get strong rhythmic drive much thanks to their new bassist Nikki Pickle from The Death Valley Girls. The guitar has a wah wah sound that is both modern and vintage. The vocals have a strong vintage rock and roll vibe and the shout backs sound deliciously 60s, 70s. The vocals and guitars play off one another sending melodies back and forth in a creative way. The lead guitar lines are treble boosted with vintage fuzz tones.

Frankie and the Witch Fingers Cookin’ is one of the most entertaining music videos from the band. The stories of violence, drug use, suggested murder and destruction by female vigilantes keep my eyes glued to the screen. The video has a lo-fi feel that seems intensionally vintaged. The three assailants celebrate and reveal in all their intoxication and destruction. In fact, the level of enjoyment makes the viewers wish they could be the next victim.

Frankie and the Witch Fingers Cookin’ is packed with funky grooves, classic psychedelic rock effects, high energy rock and infectious vocals. This band cannot slow down and seems to be driven to conquer audiences world-wide by bringing the LA garage sound into psyched out freaky places.

ThePsychRock.com provides bands with more exposure and does little to nothing for me personally but I like hearing new music so I guess that is enough to keep it alive. Sometimes I am busy working long hours in the health care industry. So I may be to busy to respond to emails or write articles so just know I am out there in the world working a shit ton and sometimes I don’t get around to my hobbies. Peace and Love.
